Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar (about 5-6 hours)  

Our driver will come to pick you up from Delhi airport/station in the morning. We will start our trip to Haridwar, the gateway of Chardham.

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot (about 6-7 hours)

Day 5: Journey from Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Back (200 km, 100 km each way)

Day 6: Travel from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km, about 7-8 hours)

  Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (Trek or Helicopter)  

This is the Kedarnath darshan day. You have two options to reach Kedarnath Temple from Sonprayag.

Option 1: By Trek

Your driver drops you at Sonprayag. A shared jeep takes you from Sonprayag to Gaurikund (5 km). From Gaurikund, you trek 16 km to Kedarnath Temple. The trek takes 6 to 8 hours uphill.

Important: uphill movement from Gaurikund stops at 1:30 PM. Start early. Pony and palki are available at the trailhead.

Option 2: By Helicopter

Helicopter tickets for Kedarnath are handled exclusively by IRCTC. No third party can book Kedarnath helicopter tickets.

Book your tickets directly at irctc.co.in well in advance. Your driver will drop you at the helipad at your ticket time.

We will drive to Badrinath after breakfast. We will check in at the hotel and then take a holy bath at the Tapt Kund. We will visit the Badri Vishal temple and join the evening Aarti.
