Our Char Dham Yatra covers four temples in Uttarakhand: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. From Delhi, the full circuit takes 11 days by private car. The route is about 1,600–1,800 km by road. Traveling by private car means you travel at your own pace, stop where you want, and do not depend on shared buses or group schedules.
Car Booking provides a private car with an experienced hill driver for the entire 11 days. The driver handles all mountain roads, parking at restricted zones, and transfers at trek starting points.

A2. The route from Delhi is: Delhi - Haridwar - Barkot - Yamunotri - Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Guptkashi - Kedarnath - Badrinath - Rudraprayag - Rishikesh - Delhi. Temples are visited in this order: Yamunotri first, then Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath last.

A4. Yes. Registration is mandatory for all four temples. You can register online at the Uttarakhand government portal or at registration counters in Haridwar and Rishikesh. Carry your registration confirmation and a valid photo ID throughout the trip.
A5. Yes, many senior citizens complete Char Dham Yatra by private car. The car travel itself is comfortable. The main physical requirement is the Kedarnath trek (16 km) and the Yamunotri trek (6 km). Both treks have pony, palki, and helicopter options available, which are suitable for senior pilgrims. Consult your doctor before undertaking high-altitude travel.
A6. AC works on the Delhi to Haridwar stretch and on the Rishikesh to Delhi return stretch. On mountain roads, AC is switched off because it puts excessive load on the engine on steep gradients. This is standard practice for all hill vehicles. Carry light woolens for the mountain sections.
A7. The package starts from Rs. 38,999 per person for a group of 4 traveling in an Innova Crysta with standard hotels. Prices change based on group size, vehicle type, and hotel category. Groups of 6 or more pay less per person. Call us at +91 9810833751 for a quote based on your exact group size and travel dates.
A8. Yes. Helicopter service is available for Kedarnath. Tickets must be booked directly through IRCTC at irctc.co.in. No travel agent or third party can book Kedarnath helicopter tickets. Book well in advance as slots fill up quickly during peak season. Helicopter tickets are not included in the package price and are paid separately.
A9. Char Dham covers all four temples: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath. It takes 11 to 12 days from Delhi. Do Dham covers two temples: Kedarnath and Badrinath. It takes 7 days from Delhi. Ek Dham covers one temple only, typically Kedarnath. It takes 5 to 6 days from Delhi. All three start and end in Delhi.
A10. For families of 4 to 6, the Toyota Innova Crysta is the most common choice as it has good ground clearance, comfortable seats, and handles mountain roads well. For groups of 9 or more, the Tempo Traveller or Force Urbania are better as they keep everyone together in one vehicle. All vehicles provided by Car Booking are maintained specifically for long-distance hill travel.
