Detailed Day-by-Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi sightseeing → drive to Agra

Distance: approximately 210 km. Travel time is about 3 to 4 hours via the Yamuna Expressway.

Humayun's Tomb

You will begin your journey at 8.30 a.m. The first stop of this tour will be to visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site for about 45 minutes.

Qutub Minar

You will then travel to the 12th-century minaret and spend approximately 45 minutes exploring its grounds.

India Gate and Rajpath

Short photo stop for about 20 minutes.

Lotus Temple

Exterior photo stop. Spend about 15 minutes.

• Leave Delhi for Agra at 2:00 PM.
• Arrive in Agra around 5:30 PM.
• Check in to the hotel and rest. Wake up early tomorrow for the Taj Mahal visit at 5:30 AM.

Note: Old Delhi, including Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk, is not included in this plan to keep Day 2 on schedule. If Old Delhi is important for you, we can adjust the itinerary.

Day 2: Agra full day → drive to Jaipur

Distance: 240 km. Travel time is about 4.5 hours via Fatehpur Sikri.

Taj Mahal Sunrise Visit

Entry around 5:45 AM. Spend about 2 hours. The central fountain pathway offers the best sunrise view and fewer crowds.

Agra Fort

Visit at 9:30 AM. Explore the Mughal palace complex for about 1.5 hours. You can also see views of the Taj Mahal from the Musamman Burj.

Mehtab Bagh (Optional)

A garden on the riverbank with a reverse view of the Taj Mahal. Good for photography. Spend about 30 minutes if included.

Fatehpur Sikri

Stop at 1:30 PM for about 1 hour. Visit the abandoned Mughal capital, an important historical site that many short tours do not include.

• Arrive in Jaipur around 7:30 PM.
• Check in to the hotel and stay overnight in Jaipur.

Important: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday. Please plan travel dates accordingly.

Day 3: Jaipur sightseeing → return to Delhi

Amber Fort

Visit at 8:00 AM. Spend about 1.5 hours exploring the fort. Arriving before 9:00 AM helps avoid tour group crowds. Jeep rides to the entrance are available for about 400 rupees per jeep.

Hawa Mahal

Visit at 10:30 AM. Spend about 30 minutes. First take photos from the street and then visit inside if desired.

City Palace and Jantar Mantar

Visit at 11:15 AM. Spend about 1 hour at both sites. The entry ticket is about 200 rupees for each monument.

Jal Mahal Photo Stop

Quick stop for photos on the way out of Jaipur. Entry inside the palace is not allowed.
